Amateur (from the French 'lover of') because we’re not professionally trained and not expecting you (the reader) to be either, and yet we love discussing and delving into the Bible and Theology. Theologians, as in, we're into the study of God: the ultimate reality. All mankind are united by the reality of God, and all Christians should be seeking his face as their primary goal: knowing God is after all going to be a big chunk of what eternity is all about.
